Preparation

Choose a suitable day for the vrata. Thursdays or Saturdays are considered auspicious, but you can choose a day that is convenient for you.

Clean the puja area or a sacred space in your home.

Gather the necessary items, including a picture or idol of Lord Venkateshwara, flowers, incense sticks, camphor, fruits, coconuts, turmeric, kumkum, betel leaves, betel nuts, and sweets.

Fasting

On the chosen day, observe a partial fast.

You can abstain from consuming grains and eat only fruits and milk, or you can choose a fasting method that aligns with your personal preferences and health.

Puja

Place the picture or idol of Lord Venkateshwara on the puja altar. (The Image can be in mobile also!)

Light incense sticks and a camphor lamp. Offer flowers, fruits, sweets, and coconut to the deity. Apply turmeric and kumkum on the idol or picture.

Offer betel leaves and nuts as a symbolic gesture of hospitality. Recite the Venkateshwara Ashtakam or any other stotra dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara.
